Products Description
A cableway is an amusement facility located at a high altitude that utilizes the natural or artificial height difference. It uses a carrying cable and pulleys to allow passengers to slide down by gravity. It can cross rivers, go over valleys, and pass through forests. According to its operation mode, it can be classified into three types:
Straight sliding type (one-way): A single carrying cable, passengers slide from the upper station to the lower station in a single direction, and an independent recovery system is required; suitable for long spans (150–600m), and is the mainstream in outdoor scenic areas.
Reversing type: There is one sliding car at each station, and they are linked in a closed loop through traction cables; the descending car drives the ascending car, no additional power is needed, suitable for medium and short spans (50–120m), and venues with stable passenger flow.
Power traction type: Equipped with motors or hydraulic traction, it can operate in both directions, climb slopes, suitable for situations where the height difference is insufficient or in indoor venues.
According to its purpose, it can also be divided into jungle cableways (for traveling between trees), lake surface cableways, canyon high-altitude cableways, and children's mini cableways (height ≤ 3m, speed ≤ 2m/s).
