Historical Origin: In ancient times, they were mostly military lookout towers (such as beacon towers, castle arrow towers); in modern times, they have been transformed into civilian sightseeing towers. The Eiffel Tower in 1889 was the symbolic beginning of modern sightseeing towers.
Main Types
Independent Sightseeing Tower (purely for viewing, such as the Eiffel Tower, Tokyo Skytree);
Composite Function Tower (combining broadcasting, catering, entertainment, etc., such as Guangzhou Tower, Auckland Sky Tower);
